                              RESOLUTION NO. 21506
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION REALLOCATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
                 BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM VARIOUS FUNDING YEARS AS
                 SET FORTH MORE FULLY HEREINBELOW.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       reallocation of funds in the total amount of $1,522,214 from the
       Community Development Block Grant program income and contingency
       as follows: 
       Inner City Ministries (renovation of building)	 	$ 100,000
       Westside CDC (A&E costs and demolition of strip mall)	  150,000
       MLK Area (property acquisition and demolition and
       	    other services by City for ICDC)   	      	 	  125,000
       Community Kitchen (acquisition of World Sales Bldg.)	  270,000
       Children's Advocacy Center (renovation of building)	  193,950
       Chattanooga Cares (AIDS prevention program)  	 	    8,500
       CHA (property acquisition on Southern Street)	 	  200,000
       CHA (renovation of facility for Jobs Plus)   	 	   66,000
       Urban League (computer training franchise)   	 	   50,000
       CADAS (renovation of Samaritan House)   	    	 	   46,222
       Contingency for cost overruns and other emergencies	  312,542
